Catamount is available all seasons of the year for guests and the general public to use and enjoy for a variety of purposes. Some events and activities are organized as part of commuity festivals and others are hosted by guests for families, friends, businesses, and organizations. Guests use the Lodge for a variety of family events including weddings and for meetings and retreats, training sessions, class reunions, and more.
Winterfest

Family Gatherings
Family reunions and other gatherings give people time to be together, go on picnics, play games indoors and out, hike trails, and more. Hikers use trails to get to the top of Catamount Mountain and paddlers access Carry Falls Reservoir for kayaking and canoeing.

Nature-Inspired Art
Lodge guests and other visitors are often inspired to capture the natural world through photography, quilting, drawing, writing, and other creative pursuits. Commissioned wall quilts, for instance, permanently on display in Catamount Lodge were made by local quilter Patty Blickwedehl. Her work reflects the artistic talents and continuing strength of quilting in the region.
